The Welcome to Tarboro Magazine was a product of The Daily Southerner until 2014, until Gene Hudson became owner and publisher. It features happenings around the county, events, and human interest stories from local businesses and residents. 

The magazine has over 60 locations in Tarboro as well as locations in Pinetops, Macclesfield, Greenville, Rocky Mount and at Welcome Centers in Roanoke Rapids, I-85 near Durham, Columbia NC, and also in New Bern Center.

Subscription information is always located at the bottom of page 2. 

Subscriptions to the magazine range from as far away as Seattle, 

Washington to Austin, Texas, Georgia, and Rhode Island.
