Thanks to the generosity of donors, ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital now has a beautiful new outdoor dining pavilion for team members and visitors to enjoy. The pavilion provides a welcoming space to take a break, share a meal and enjoy fresh air in a scenic outdoor setting.

The new space comes at an important time for the hospital. The ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital cafeteria renovation project is scheduled to begin mid-July  and continue through October 2026. The cafeteria will be closed to the public beginning July 9.

Food & Nutrition Services will continue to offer dining options for team members and providers, including grab-and-go items, hot and cold bar selections, and beverages. Seating inside will be limited, making the outdoor pavilion a valuable alternative for those looking for a comfortable place to sit and enjoy their meal.

More than just an added convenience, the pavilion reflects the continued support of donors who invest in projects that enhance the hospital environment. Their generosity helps create spaces that support comfort, connection, and well-being for those who work in, visit and receive care at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital.
